Breakaway-80 is a dedicated support interface material designed to detach cleanly from the primary print material by simple manual force - no solvents or soaking required. Unlike PVA or HIPS soluble supports you simply flex or snap the support structure away after the print has cooled. Originally marketed for advanced engineering filaments it also works reliably as a breakaway support on common materials such as PETG. The low density (~1.0 g/cm³) minimises the weight and cost penalty of support structures. Bed temperature of 100-110°C is required for good adhesion during printing.
