PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide) is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic with a low-enough melting point to be printable at only ~300°C, yet has a continuous use temperature of 220-240C, short-term tolerance up to 260°C, and a melting point of 285°C. It dissolves in no known substance below 200°C. It is very strong (though not impact resistant), extremely hard (harder than PC and even PA6-CF), very stiff, and is in general the most advanced plastic printable on "regular" consumer-grade printers.
